Edna Sahm
Here is a slice of history from an amazing woman. Through her eyes you will not only see the progression of American society and civilization over ninety years, but she will take you on a journey of going from an under-privileged and orphaned early life, to becoming a first rate, world traveled and affluent philanthropist. She is affectionately known as the Queen of Escondido, California.
With the looks of a super star, this woman knows all ends of the spectrum. She’s been poor and she’s been rich. She likes to joke, rich is better! However, she doesn’t lavish herself at the exclusion of others. She generously shares her resources with those in need.
Dedicated to advancing the California Center for the Arts, Escondido for over fifteen years, she’s mingled with celebrities and also spends time supporting those with less enjoyable plights like: Interfaith, Hospice, and Serenity Women’s Shelters.
Enjoy the inspiration, highs and lows of a walking history book, and maybe as she reflects…you will do some reflecting too!

Edna’s inspirational book was written from her heart. The heart of a wife, mother and friend. You will love the true Edna Sahm, as I do.

Dear Mom Edna,
I truly enjoyed reading your book. In fact, I loved it. This is the stuff "Hallmark" movies are made of. I`ve always wondered why they haven`t made more movies based on truth...so much more interesting. This one was written as you would tell it, and I can hear you when I read.
Some things remind me of her. I will write again soon. Thank you again for sending the book, and thank you for you. -- for being part of my life, and for raising a son who left me with many beautiful memories.. Love, Linda / Mikki
